How it was built

A rebuild of the main site for Discursivas, a prep course for the essay exams of Brazilian medical schools. The site ran on a page builder and a stack of plugins; all of it went. In came a hand-written theme with a single in-house module handling redirects, security and SEO.

The numbers behind the swap: the database dropped from 92 MB to 3 MB, and the time the page spent frozen running scripts in the browser went from over two seconds to zero. The 60 short links used in campaigns were migrated one by one: no previously published link stopped working.

The page sells: plans, bundles, proof of results and a single path to enrollment, which leads straight into the study platform. Notices and promotions come and go on their own by the clock, with nobody publishing anything at the moment it starts, and the free lessons deliver their material through a gate that captures the contact before opening the folder.

We show the version delivered by Trampolim. The live site belongs to the client and may have evolved since then.
