How it was built

A full rebuild of the site and system for Preserva-Ação, a judicial administrator working in Rio and São Paulo. Visitors find a case, a document or a notice through a single search; creditors sign in and see every case they are registered in, gathered in one place.

The archive is the heart of the job: nearly 2,000 documents and 4.6 GB of PDFs migrated from the previous system, now stored OUTSIDE the server’s public folder. A restricted case document no longer opens from a direct link: it goes through a check on who is asking. In the old system anyone with the address could download it.

The firm works in a panel of its own, with no third-party admin screens in sight: it registers cases and notices, resolves incomplete documents, validates creditor sign-ups by tax ID and follows the messages from the contact form. One rule the old system lacked: a case with documents attached cannot be deleted, which is exactly what left 78 orphaned, invisible documents behind.

We show the version delivered by Trampolim. The live site belongs to the client and may have evolved since then.
