How it was built

The pre-launch site for SkidShifter, a motorcycle quickshifter that changes gears without the clutch, both up and down. The opening shows the two models in 3D, using the same part that goes to the factory, and the look follows the paddock: dark background, a single green, square corners like the logo.

Instead of explaining milliseconds, the site shows it: two identical bikes launch side by side, one shifting with the clutch and one with SkidShifter, on a drag run and on a circuit lap, and the gap shows up in meters. Then comes model selection, with a page for each one and a question wizard for riders unsure which fits their bike.

Product images come from renders made in-house, in several sizes, so phones download only what they need. The site opens fast even loaded with imagery and ends in a waiting list that keeps interested riders for launch. SkidShifter’s electronics, board software and app were also built by Trampolim.

We show the version delivered by Trampolim. The live site belongs to the client and may have evolved since then.
